By focusing on critical areas such as education, economic justice, environmental justice, gender-based violence prevention, and women's entrepreneurship, we aim to make a significant impact in the lives of women and girls around the world. Our "wishlist" reflects our dedication to creating a more just and equitable world, and we are excited to continue our philanthropic efforts to support these important causes.

  • As part of our commitment to combating gender-based violence, the Global Women Fund seeks to support domestic violence shelters that are located in areas of need. Specifically, we prioritize funding for shelters that are at least 70 kilometers away from an existing shelter or are cut off by geographical barriers, such as international borders, mountain ranges, or islands. By investing in these critical resources, we aim to provide women with a safe haven and support services in areas where they may not have access to such resources otherwise. Our goal is to ensure that all women, regardless of their location, have access to the help they need to escape violence and rebuild their lives.

  • We recognize the vital role that education plays in empowering women and girls around the world. That's why we prioritize funding for schools located in communities where access to education is limited. By investing in these schools, we aim to provide educational opportunities for girls and women who may not otherwise have access to them, helping to break down barriers and create pathways to success. Our goal is to ensure that every girl, regardless of her circumstances, has the chance to receive an education and pursue her dreams.

  •  Women entrepreneurs have a unique ability to prioritize social impact in their businesses. Our primary focus is on supporting women-led businesses in the consumer packaged goods (CPG), tourism, retail, and consumer tech sectors, though we are open to considering other business ideas. However, we do not invest in spas, nail salons, or fitness studios. Additionally, we do not support any business ventures that harm communities of color, such as yoga or cacao ceremonies, unless they have a direct lineage to the community. Our ultimate goal is to promote women's economic empowerment and create a more just and sustainable world for all.
